UST Global bags Rs 159-cr project to install CCTVs, command and control centre in Nashik

UST Global, a multinational providing digital, IT services and solutions in India, has bagged a Rs 159-crore state IT corporation project to install 800 CCTV cameras and set up a a command and control centre in Nashik, Maharashtra.

According to UST Global, Tech Mahindra will be the technical partner in the project, which is expected to be completed in a year’s time.

The command and control centre set up by the company will be utilised to monitor street lights, CCTVs and manage traffic signals and parking areas across the city. Of the 3,443 locations identified in the city for installation of CCTVs, UST Global will install 800 CCTVs in the first phase to tackle the menace of crime.

Besides CCTVs, at least 50 public places in the city will also get connected through Wi-Fi and will be installed with environmental sensors, emergency call boxes, etc.
