The Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), India’s only global Financial and IT hub, is witnessing a lot interest coming from domestic and global IT & ITeS companies to set up operations there.
The domestic and the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of the GIFT city already accommodates some of the leading institutions employing as many as 500 people. These organizations include Oracle; Maxim Integrated, a $2 billion US-based integrated solutions company; and Befree, a leading book-keeping company from Australia.
Others include (n)Code Solutions, a subsidiary of GNFC, which has set up a world-class PKI facility to offer digital signature certificate and a range of PKI-based solutions at GIFT.
The companies which are yet to start operations include leading E-commerce player Infibeam which has acquired space in the GIFT City and is in advance stages of beginning its corporate office and overall back office operations.
The SEZ area of the GIFT City has a lot of companies operating out of it including QX Corporate, Iship Design and Accvell Technologies. They deal in export of various IT enabled services.
