1.5 affordable homes come in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government is planning to build 1.5 million affordable homes in Mumbai and across the state, said Housing Minister Prakash Mehta, Government of Maharashtra.

This scheme is in line with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Housing for all by 2022 through Public Private Partnership model(PPP).

More projects like Metro Rail, Navi Mumbai, International Airport, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link will make connectivity efficient, said Pravin Darade, Additional Municipal Corporation.

This project will realise the vision of transforming India and will make a positive ecosystem for boosting investor sentiment, which has always been a problem for this sector, said P.K. Gupta, State Bank of India, MD.

200 delegates have attended this conference representing various stakeholders like real estate developers, banking and financial sector, architects and engineers.
