SenRa With the aim to offer technologically superior solutions to smart cities, SenRa, a Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) provider of IoT, has teamed up with Imtac India to come up with innovative solutions like smart street lighting and tracking devices.

Under the brand name ‘Empyreal’, Imtac has been providing technology solutions to smart cities in India. It has been providing GPS-enabled IoT wearables to monitor the attendance of sanitation staff and solutions in smart city lighting space in various smart cities.

Given that SenRa has deployed its networks across 23 cities and is on the verge of implementing it in 30 cities by 2018-end, it allows Imtac to bring low cost, low range and long-lasting solutions as part of their efforts to penetrate India’s IoT market that is likely to grow to $15bn by 2020.

“What cities require are the trusted partners with illustrious features which are quintessential to enhance the digital transformation. This partnership will have an important part to strengthen IoT solutions in India,” said SenRa CEO Ali Hosseini.
