The authority has selected 62 points where it is planning to install docking stations. A total of 620 e-bikes will also be provided by the authority at these docking stations.

The authority has also circulated tenders for the engagement of an agency that will look after the operation and in the stallion of these docking stations.

The authority has also included a clause in its tender according to which the selected company has to make sure that the public bike-sharing (PSB) system is integrated with that of Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) to ensure connectivity to metro stations for the public.

“Noida lacks sustainable first and last-mile connectivity solutions that are affordable, eco-friendly and viable,” said Ritu Maheswari, CEO of Noida Metro.

These docking stations will be operated without any attendants and will be fully automated. They will be made in such a way that it will be able to read the RFID enabled smart cards. The e-cycles will be provided with the GPS trackers and will be made available at these docking centers from 5 am to 11 pm every day.
