Indore Smart Command Centre to launch soon

Smart Command Centre

The ‘Smart Command Centre,’ set up in Indore Smart City, is expected to go live soon. From now on, manhole covers, water spillage, ambulance services and more will be monitored in real-time.

Indore would become the fifth smart city in Madhya Pradesh to have this facility. The state-of-the-art ‘Smart Command Centre’ has been built behind the office of Atal Indore City Transport Services Ltd (AICTSL).

Aditi Garg, CEO of Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) said that this smart control and command centre will have three major components: Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC), event alert and analytics section. She added that the ICCC will control and monitor all city-based as well as state-level services integrated to it; the event alert section would comprise accessibility of emergency services such as medical assistance, police and fire brigades, and the analytics section would suggest changes in services depending on calculations based on the available data and statistics.

The main objective of this project is to provide a single administrative platform by incorporating various facilities available in the city. The information received from various departments like transport, water, fire police, meteorology, e-governance among others, will be resolved and analysed on a single platform.

Under this model, the city’s data will be stored in the data centre, which will be analyzed from time to time. This data analysis will be helpful in making departmental plans and bringing improvements in the services of the city.
