The famous Moti Bagh in Raipur, Chattisgarh’s capital city, will now be developed as a multi-entertainment park under the smart city project, a senior official of the Raipur Municipal Corporation said.
“Moti Bagh, under the smart city project will get advance infrastructure consisting solar lights and CCTV surveillance. It would involve building a new cycle track, puzzle-shape garden, amphitheatre, a unique soft walking track for senior citizens,” the RMC official said.
To be developed at a cost of Rs 10 crore, the park will have a sports complex, walking tracks and artificial waterstreams. The revamping work will start in December.
The RMC also plans to build a botanical garden in a puzzle shape garden on riddle style pattern. The garden will have other interesting features like musical fountain, small water river, traditional market, children’s park, elaborate parking zone and others facilities.
An artificial lake is also being developed inside Moti Bagh, which is spread over an area of three and a half hectare in the heart of the city.
