Five Government-to-citizens (G2C) services of New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) have been made digital on a common portal.
Trade Licence in case of new applicants and renewal of trade licence, mutation, and registration of death and water connection are the services, which are just a click away for New Town Kolkata residents.
After the submission of the application, a SMS is sent to the concerned citizen about the status of the application. Text is also sent when the document is ready for dispatch.
To attain a death certificate, the scanned copy of the certificate issued by the crematorium or burial ground along with a copy of the death certificate given by the doctor has to be submitted online.
NKDA will soon set up fully equipped kiosks/helpdesks to help those who are not too familiar with the online process.
