multi-level car parking

The multi-level car parking being developed by Srinagar Development Authority in city the city centre will be ready by the end of this year, much before its deadline in April 2020, officials said.

The Rs 26.92-crore project, partially funded under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), will have three floors built with the help of Srinagar Development Authority’s own resource, while the remaining four floors will be constructed by utilising the funding under Central government’s sponsored scheme AMRUT.

The State officials said the upcoming project would also bring down the cost of parking in the city, where “people have been hesitant to pay Rs 30-40 for the mechanised parking”.
