Spain spells out technical terms for Delhi’s smart city

The India Gate monument in New Delhi, India, enveloped by a blanket of smogSpain has reportedly presented a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), highlighting the technical support it will offer to the Ministry of Urban Development to develop Delhi as a ‘Smart City’.

According to the MoU, the coordinators for the project will be the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, ICEX Spain Trade and Investments and the urban development ministry.

According to report, Spain will extend its support in urban planning and management, infrastructure, water management, housing, waste management, energy and utilities, mobility sanitation, environment and public goods and services.
