Prakash Mehta launches PMRDA’s new portal at Elets Affordable Housing Summit

Maharashtra’s Urban Development Minister Prakash Mehta has launched Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s (PMRDA) new website which will especially cater to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Prakash MehtaThe portal is an Online Beneficiary Management System for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna under PMRDA and was launched at Affordable Housing Summit, Maharashtra in Mumbai recently.

PMRDA is expecting more than one lakh beneficiaries to submit their applications for PMAY online through this website.

The portal allows the beneficiary to complete all the formalities right from filling up the application form on the website itself without having to physically approach PMRDA for any work.

The beneficiary can also attach his scanned documents along with the online application. The eligibility of the candidate, allotment of tenement on the basis of the lottery system will also be done online.

Under affordable housing in partnership under Public Private Partnership, 29,070 such houses have been sanctioned.
