Maharashtra picks Melghat to set up smart village pilot project

fadnavisMaharashtra Government has selected Harisal in Melghat area for a pilot project of smart village, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said. The areas will be digitally connected to improve health care.

 The State Government is in talks with Microsoft for the project.

 “Melghat region has connectivity problems. With the help of technology, we can build network and connectivity to provide better health care” Fadnavis said.

 “Microsoft cloud services will help to drive inclusive governance as the cloud is a great way to address challenges in education, health care and inclusive growth,” the Chief Minister said.
