Jhansi Smart City to install solar panels across buildings in the city

Jhansi Smart City Limited has issued tenders to set up rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across buildings in the city.

The first tender floated by the Special Public Vehicle (SPPV) of Jhansi Smart City is for generating 60.5 Kilowatt solar power on rooftop solar PV projects across various schools, which would be set up under CAPEX mode.

The successful bidder will provide operation and maintenance services for five years after the completion of the one-year defect liability period (DLP).

The estimated duration of project completion is six months and the budget allocated to the project is approximately Rs 7,560,000.

The second tender is for installing solar rooftop panels across government buildings, which is worth Rs 285,740,000. The duration of completing this project is 12 months.

According to Jhansi Smart City, for both tenders, the scope of work includes the supply, design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of the hybrid rooftop solar PV projects.
