While the metro officials evacuated the passengers from the metro, their woes did not end there. Although DMRC ran feeder bus service between Sultanput and Qutab Minar, the number of buses was not enough to accommodate the passengers commuting in this particular metro route.
As a result, the traffic congestions in the areas of Qutub minar, Sultanpur, Ghitorni, Chhatarpur took place.

Trains on Yellow Line that connects Huda City Centre in Gurgaon to Samaypur Badli in Delhi was disrupted at 9:32 am and normal services were restored around 3 pm.
According to an official statement by DMRC, the snag took place owing to a breakdown of the overhead wire (OHE) at Sultanpur station, midway between Gurgaon and Delhi, leading to power supply tripping in the section.
