Haryana to develop Gurgaon as a Smart City on its own

gurgaonHaryana Government said the state will use its own resources to develop Gurgaon as a Smart City as per the central guidelines.

“The State Government will arrange Rs 500 crore of its own for Gurgaon,” Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said adding that central guidelines and technical assistance will be followed by the state to develop Gurgaon as Smart City.

Under the Smart City Mission, Karnal and Faridabad were selected to be developed as Smart City in Haryana. However, the state is also keen to develop the NCR town Gurgaon as a Smart City by raising the required fund itself.
