Tirupati Smart City invites bids for Solar projects

Tirupati Smart City Corporation Limited (TSCCL) is inviting Request for Proposal (RfP) for 6 MW of grid-connected solar projects.

Tirupati_Smart_City It will include the supply, design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of the project.

The bidder will also be responsible for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of the projects for a period of 10 years.

The last date for bid submission is January 4, 2019.

Companies who are in the domain of handling grid-connected solar projects in India with a cumulative capacity of at least 30 MW, including a single project of minimum 5 MW capacity, can go for this tender.

The minimum turnover of such companies should be not less than Rs 30 crore in the last three financial years.

The Greater Chennai Corporation is also planning such solar panel projects on 662 of its buildings under Smart Cities Programme.

This year, Karnataka’s Tumakuru Smart City Limited has also tendered a 2.7 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects to be established for its Government buildings.

Diu Smart City is the first city in the country to work completely on renewable energy on daytime. It has developed 9 MW solar park in the city along with rooftop solar panels located on 79 government buildings, generating 1.3 MW annually.

Similarly, the Indore Smart City Development Limited has also issued a tender for smart meters to be installed under Indore Smart City project.
