Leading Indian technology aggregator iValue InfoSolutions has launched an afforestation drive at Ulsoor Lake Park, Bangalore as part of their CSR activity, the company said.
The drive was launched under the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike and Koti Vriksha Sene’s ’10 Million Tree Mission’ to save the environment.
“iValue’s commitment is to give back to the society which we are all part of. It is the duty of socially responsible organisations to get involved in initiatives to restore nature and environment which is the most crucial need of the hour,” said Krishna Raj Sharma, CEO, iValue InfoSolutions.
He added that iValue will be happy to team up with organisations to further the cause of “Go Green” and to re-instate the lost charm of the Garden city.
The launch ceremony was attended by dignitaries like BBMP Commissioner BS Anil Kumar and Mayor Goutham Kumar, among others.
