Pune Smart City’s ‘Smart Clinic’ project bags national award

The ‘Smart Clinic’ initiative of Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) has won the India Smart Cities Award 2019, which has been constituted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) to acknowledge the efforts of Indian Smart Cities for their initiatives under different categories.

pune smart cityThe Pune Smart City project has been selected under the ‘Social Aspects’ category of the award.

Launched at Baner, the ‘Smart Clinic’ has been equipped with all the amenities for delivering basic healthcare to the citizens at their convenience. The services include provisions of free OTC medicines and some specialised tests at subsidised rates at the facility.

Earlier, Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited has won accolades for initiatives like Free Pune Wi-Fi, Smart Public Bicycle Sharing, Smart Placemaking and Smart Street Redesign. The lighthouse project is also one of the most successful projects of PSCDCL.
