Prestige’s IT project launched at Smart City Kochi

The Prestige Group has started the piling work of its IT project, Prestige, Cyber Green—1, in Smart City Kochi in an area of 4.61 acre.

It will have a total built-up area of 8, 77,630 sq ft and leasable area of 5, 39,800 sq ft. We are looking forward to attract big names in the IT sector by offering world-class facilities, said Thankachan Thomas V, senior vice president, Prestige, Kerala. The company is aiming to complete piling work in four months and the superstructure in two years.

The project is designed on the green building concepts and designed by RSP design consultants. The structure will have two levels of car parking in basements and two independent towers with ground plus seven floors.

With a FAR (Floor Area Ratio) of 2.47 and coverage of 38.75 per cent, the company is focused on providing open spaces. The project will have the capacity to house 5,500 employees.

In Smart City, Prestige has taken up an area of 8 acres and will develop a total built-up area of 12 lakh sq ft.

The clientele includes major corporate firms like JP Morgan, Chase, Oracle, Nokia and Airtel. “The state-of-the-art facilities developed by co-developers have been progressing at a very fast pace and we are on track to develop 6 million sq ft IT space by 2021,” said Manoj Nair, CEO, Smart City Kochi.
