
The directorial board of the Nashik Municipal Smart City development Corporation (NMSCDCL) has given its approval for giving work orders to seven projects worth Rs 310 crore.
This projects include the Godavari river front development, involving enhancement and infrastructure component in Area Based Development ABD at a cost of Rs 65 crore, and redevelopment of major and minor roads with infrastructure utility services, including water supply and sewerage in ABD area at a cost of Rs 201 crore.
In the Godavari river front development project, the board gave its approval to give work order to civil work. The board also gave its approval for procurement and maintenance of trash skimmer (Rs 2.62 crore) for removal of water rocks in the Godavari. The board also decided to float tender again for the redevelopment of water infrastructure in ABD and surrounding area.
The Smart city board decided to give Rs 48 crore to the Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation in phases for Corporation in phases for the works under ICT component.
