Indore first to get over 1 lakh citizen feedbacks

Indore has become the first city to have collected more than one lakh citizen feedbacks under the Citizen Perception Survey, a component of Ease of Living Survey 2019.

Indore collected a total of 1,02,620 feedbacks as on February 24, whereas, Surat was able to collect 97,939. Greater Hyderabad followed with 82,397 feedbacks and Salem collected 81,746 followed by Ahmedabad with 80,470 surveys.

Sandeep Soni, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Indore Smart City Ltd said that four more days are left for the Citizen Perception Survey. The survey would end on February 29. “We wish to maintain our lead in the list. We are expecting 1.25 lakh feedbacks from Indore,” said Soni. “In next three days, we will fire all our cylinders to ensure that Indoreans log onto www.eol2019.org website for submitting their feedback in large numbers,” he added.

Earlier, Surat was leading in online citizen feedback since the feedback link was opened on February 1. Indore took the lead on February 23 and has been maintaining its position ever since.

The Citizen Perception Survey is one of the essential components of Ease of Living Index-2019 as it helps in knowing citizen’s perception on quality of life in their cities. As many as 114 cities are participating in the survey. The citizens’ feedback contributes 30 percent to the Ease of Living Survey 2019.
