Free Wi-Fi service at Ahmedabad railway station
Around 2.5 lakh passengers travelling via Ahmedabad railway station, the biggest and busiest railway station in Gujarat, will now be able to access the Internet through free Wi-Fi service. Vodafone has partnered with the Indian Railways to set up free Wi-Fi zone at the railway station in Kalupur area.
The free Wi-Fi zone has been created on Platform No. 1 of the railway station. It will provide 100 MB data or 20 minutes of uninterrupted usage, whichever lapses first. A mobile phone user can connect once in 24 hours using One Time Password (OTP). Any mobile phone user can avail of the service of free Wi-Fi, irrespective of which telecom service provider they are aligned with.
Jayesh Gadia, Business Head – Gujarat, Vodafone India, said, “We are pleased to bring a customer-friendly initiative in the form of the free Wi-Fi zone at Ahmedabad railway station. The Platform No. 1 of Ahmedabad Railway Station, Kalupur, is going to be the cool spot to hang out and stay connected round-the-clock.”
