Find more public parking space in Ludhiana; DC directs Smart city officials

The Ludhiana Smart City Limited (LSCL) officials have been asked to look for more options for public parking space in the city during a meeting which was headed by Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Agarwal.

During the meeting, the officials were also asked to look if any government lands are available near hospitals like civil hospital or DMCH, where people need parking space around the clock.

The officials also gave an update on the Smart City projects which are undergoing or are new. They also provided the deadline for the same.

The railway over and under the bridge at Pakhowal Road railway crossing will be completed by 2021. However, the work on Malhar Road beautification, Sarabha Nagar market beautification, utilization of carcass projects will be completed by 2020. 24 * 7 canal-based water supply in three wards will be completed by 2021.
