The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has enabled e-scooter renting services at four metro stations. The facility is available at Vishwavidyalaya, Mandi House, Dwarka Sector 9 and Nehru Enclave metro stations.

These e-scooters, provided by qQuick, are in addition to the bicycle sharing and e-rickshaw facility available at some of the metro stations to offer last mile connectivity to commuters.

According to DMRC, this step has been taken to offer last mile connectivity to the commuters. In a tweet, DMRC stated, “To offer efficient last-mile connectivity to commuters, DMRC has authorised e-scooters renting services at 4 stations, namely Vishwavidyalaya, Mandi House, Dwarka Sector 9 and Nehru Enclave.”

At present, battery-operated bicycle-sharing services and pedal bicycle-sharing services are available at seven and 19 metro stations in Delhi.

DMRC has also tied up with bike-sharing app Yulu for last-mile connectivity. The company has launched services from Dilli Haat (INA) to JLN Stadium in central Delhi in collaboration with the DMRC to cater to first and last-mile connectivity for commuters and to reduce congestion and pollution in the city.
