In order to meet the essences of proper health, Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) is set to install 10 health kiosk where people can get instant check up done. By paying a mere sum of Rs 20 people can get issues like their body weight, blood pressure, diabetes, glucose level and body mass index checked up.
AMC administration have decided in advance to buy these manufacturing machines and other considerations like to appoint attendants are in the pipeline.
“In the first phrase, the health kiosk will be installed in Tajganj locality owing to its state as Smart City. its installation will require funds of around Rs 90 lakh. Not only it would pander to the requirements of locals but will give a helping hand to tourists who are frequent visitors of Agra to see the Taj Mahal.” said Mayor Naveen Jain.
Additional municipal corporation Vijay Kumar said, “Health kiosks is a sophisticated machine which requires proper care. For health check ups it will take approximately five minutes to a person for five check ups.”
AMC inter college in Tajganj, Tajganj Girls High School, Shilpgram, Vaibhav Nagar near Amar Hotel, two spots on Fatehabad road, western gate of Shahjahan park and Ambedkar Park are the areas which are in list to get installed.
