National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC India), state-owned infrastructure company, has bagged four orders from the Raipur Smart City Limited (RSCL) for various infrastructure projects.
These projects include commercial redevelopments of Ganj Mandi, Shastri Market, Naveen Market and two vacant lands in Raipur.
The total estimated cost to execute these projects is Rs 700 crore.
Earlier, NBCC had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RSCL to execute various infrastructure projects as their Executing Agency.
As per the MoU, NBCC will charge eight percent of the actual cost of work as project management consultancy.
NBCC (India) is a Navaratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). The company operations are categorised into three sectors, namely, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Real Estate Development.
