Startup incubation centre starts operation at Surat

The newly formed incubation centre AICSuratilab at Surat has started its operations. The centre will help the start-ups and trade facilitation under the Smart Cities Mission.

Situated at SEPC building at Udhna, the incubation centre has been built at a cost of Rs 2 crores. It has seating capacity for 100 startup entrepreneurs, three conference rooms, a seminar room, a workshop and a meeting space.

The Centre will help people in expanding their business and run it efficiently.

The Suratilab has been set up as a Special Purpose Vehicle, as a non-profit organisation. It includes 18 partners including banks, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Institute of Technology, Auro University and SETU Foundation.

In the phase II of the project, an iconic building will be built at a cost of Rs 16 crore at Parvat Patiya.
