
Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) showcased India’s smart city vision and the Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) initiative at the World Urban Forum 13.
The forum brought together policymakers, urban planners, and development experts to discuss sustainable urbanisation and future-ready cities.
HUDCO’s participation highlighted India’s approach to smart and technology-driven cities, sustainable housing and infrastructure financing, urban resilience, and inclusive development.
The Indian delegation was led by HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Kulshrestha and DCP M. Nagaraj.
During the forum, the delegation engaged with policymakers and urban development leaders to exchange ideas and strengthen collaborations.
A key highlight of HUDCO’s participation was the presentation of the Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) initiative.
UiWIN focuses on digital solutions for urban planning and development.
According to HUDCO, the initiative is aimed at supporting smarter urban infrastructure systems, promoting digital transformation in city governance, enhancing efficiency in housing and infrastructure planning, and enabling data-driven decision-making for urban projects.
The UiWIN pavilion demonstrated how digital tools can support urban development efforts.
HUDCO stated that its participation at the forum reflected its continued engagement in discussions on sustainable and inclusive cities.
HUDCO is a Navratna NBFC under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and provides financial assistance, technical expertise, and advisory services for urban infrastructure development across the country.
