

Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway will be six laned at a cost of Rs 6,400 crore, cutting down the travel time betweeen the two cities.
There will be a satellite railway station at Naganahalli on the outskirts of Mysuru so that additional trains can operate through.
The station will be build at a cost of Rs 800 crore.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the the electrification of railway line between Mysuru and KSR Bengaluru recently. He also flagged off the Palace Queen Humsafar Express between Mysuru and Udaipur.
The new weekly Humsafar Express will connect important heritage palaces in and around Mysuru, Bengaluru, Davanagere, Hubballi, Belagavi, Pune, Kalyan, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Chittaurgarh, Udaipur and pass through five states – Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
