
The Smart City Project of Nagpur has finally received the 100 Smart Kiosks, also known as touch points, and are likely to be installed across the city.
In the first-of-its-kind project in the State of Maharashtra, citizens will get access to all type of services linked to Central and State Governments at the kiosks.
This programme is a part of the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis favorite project, Smart and Safe City Project being implemented by the special purpose vehicle — Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited (NSSCDCL).
Smart Kiosks have already been installed at 20 locations; the majority of which installed at NMC offices, hospitals, and government departments.
A display board will also be installed atop the kiosks and a method of operation will be displayed.
L & T Construction Smart World and Communication Business Unit is supposed to install the kiosks, will also operate and maintain the kiosks with high-speed internet connectivity for five years.
