A central team is gearing up for an inspection of the Belagavi smart city project’s development, as concerns about the quality of work persist. The visit date remains to be confirmed.
The team is planning to assess the implementation of the Smart City scheme in various cities across the state. Following the inspection, a comprehensive report will be submitted to the Central Urban Development Department. Minister of Public Works Department and District Guardian Minister, Satish Jarkiholi, has also weighed in on the matter.
In the wake of numerous complaints lodged with the government regarding the project’s work quality, expectations are high that the central team will duly record these concerns in their post-inspection report.
