Charging 3-Wheeler

Altigreen, India’s foremost commercial electric vehicle manufacturer, made waves today as it launched its groundbreaking neEV Tez, the world’s fastest charging 3-wheeler. The spectacular unveiling took place at a gala event in New Delhi, attended by industry luminaries and dignitaries.

Altigreen’s neEV Tez boasts a revolutionary 3-in-one charging system, offering users the flexibility to select between normal, fast, and rapid charging options. Notably, this innovative vehicle can achieve a full charge in record time – from 0 to 100% – exclusively at Exponent’s cutting-edge e^pump rapid charging network. Alternatively, it takes just one hour at any Bharat DCOO1 charging station, or a mere 3.5 hours of charging via a standard 220V/16 A AC Socket. Additionally, Altigreen backs this impressive vehicle with a 5-year standard warranty.

The high-profile event featured notable figures such as Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director Sales, Service, and Marketing at Altigreen; Mr. Arun Vinayak, CEO of Exponent Energy; and Mr. Maxson Lewis, Founder & Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, among other distinguished guests.

During his address, Mr. Debashis Mitra expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to unveil neEV Tez, a groundbreaking addition to Altigreen’s electric vehicle lineup. neEV Tez features the world’s best rapid charging capabilities powered by Exponent Energy, reflecting our unwavering commitment to serving customers’ needs by pushing the boundaries of innovative technology in electric mobility.”

Designed to meet the demands of last-mile delivery and provide convenient charging options, neEV Tez offers en-route charging via DC network, home charging via 16 Amp, and rapid charging via Exponent’s e^pump rapid charging network. Altigreen distinguishes itself by being the only OEM in the industry to offer 3-in-one charging options, enabling customers to optimize vehicle utilization and maximize earnings.

Mr. Mitra also pointed out the significant growth of L5 Cargo electrification in Delhi, surpassing 50%, compared to around 24% nationwide. He emphasized that neEV Tez, equipped with a GB/T port option for easy charging on the DC network established by the Government of Delhi, aims to solidify Altigreen’s leadership in the large EV Cargo market of India.

In a pivotal moment, Altigreen announced its partnership with Magenta Mobility, delivering 200 neEV Tez vehicles as part of a 1000 vehicle MOU deal. Mr. Maxson Lewis, Founder & Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, expressed his pride in being part of India’s electric mobility revolution, emphasizing their vision for a cleaner, more sustainable India.

Altigreen’s neEV Tez addresses efficiency and operational concerns for EV fleet operators. With a standard 5-year warranty and a battery supporting a 3000-cycle life warranty with 100% rapid charging – an industry first – neEV Tez enables users to complete two shifts on a single charge, enhancing productivity and earnings.

Mr. Arun Vinayak, CEO of Exponent Energy, highlighted the challenges faced by commercial EVs in terms of productivity and charging infrastructure reliability. He asserted that the partnership between Altigreen’s NeEV Tez and the e^pump rapid charging network would revolutionize logistics operations, providing freedom and flexibility to operators and increasing productivity and revenue.

Mr. Rajiv Kumar, GM SIDBI, also shared his thoughts on the occasion, emphasizing their commitment to electrification and providing easy finance options to support this mission.

Altigreen’s neEV Tez launch in New Delhi not only marks a significant milestone for the company but also underscores the rapid evolution of India’s electric mobility landscape, poised for a greener and more sustainable future.
