Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for three highway projects at sonepat in Haryana. Addressing the public meet he said, “It is not money that build roads, but it is roads which generate money.”
He added, “Infrastructure projects such as roads and power are the first pre-requisite of development. Once infrastructure is in place, development and quality of life improves.” He has also mentioned that these highways would give pace to Haryana’s growth.
To speed up the implementation of infrastructure projects Union Government is working towards removing bottlenecks and simplifying procedures. PM also mentioned the PRAGATI interactions with various ministers and states that he chairs on monthly basis to resolve the issues in pending projects.
Narendra Modi is also focusing on connecting 18,000 unconnected villages wit power supply within 1,000 days and ensuring 24×7 power supply to all parts of the country by 2022.
