Surbana and KPMG to work hand-in-hand for India Smart City Project

Smart City In an endeavour to impart management and design services to Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City in India, Urban consultancy Surbana Jurong and KPMG are joining hands.

Surbana Jurong said, “We will utterly focus on the improvement and development in these areas along with finding suitable smart innovative solutions. Besides, will implement various solutions as to urban design, livability, solar, sanitation, transport, healthcare, education, water supply, security, and surveillance.”

The role of KPMG will include applying smart solutions to the existing city-wide infrastructure.

Enterprise Singapore, the government statutory board that is ideal innovative and internationalise firm, won the contract awarded by special purpose vehicle Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Limited.

Wong Heang Fine, chief executive of Surbana Jurong said, “The onus is on our group expertise to ensure Pimpri Chinchwad’s success in growth of living standards for its residents in a sustainable way.”

Tay Lian Chew, Enterprise Singapore’s global markets director for South Asia said, “The agency will work in coordination with Surbana Jurong to acknowledge the areas where smaller Singapore firms with unique solutions will participate.”
