SAIL steel for Delhi’s upcoming convention centre

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) is providing steel for the state-of-the-art India International Convention and Expo Centre coming up in New Delhi.

This upcoming International Convention and Expo Centre will have a seating capacity of 10,000 guests, two exhibition halls of 80,000 square meters area, and the biggest foyer in Asia.

SAIL’s IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) is contributing through quality TMT rebars and the first consignment of 500 tonnes has already been dispatched recently.

Bars of grade 50 Mega Pascal of higher strength has produced by ISP for the first time.

This high strength grade steel will increase structural stability and reduce steel consumption and bar congestion, said Anirban Dasgupta, CEO, IISCO Steel Plant.

The product has already been tested on the parameters of strength, ductility, and bendability.
