Rama Raman to continue as Noida CEO

rama-raman-noidaAfter recently removing Rama Raman from the post of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway Authority, the Uttar Pradesh government has revised his portfolio wherein he will now be only Noida CEO effective July 18.

The State Government also appointed Arunvir Singh as additional CEO of Noida. Singh, earlier CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), has now been divested of this charge.

In the first week of July, the Allahabad High Court had taken a grim view of Raman’s continuance in the coveted posts for the last six years and had questioned whether the State Government could not find anyone better to replace him.

Raman was appointed by the Mayawati government in 2010.
