The Nagpur Metro Railway has reportedly decided to construct multi-storey station complex at the two main junctions of North-South and East-West corridor
According to report, it may be a 25-storey complex, comprising of food plaza, shopping, commercial establishments, banks and other private venture.
Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director, Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, said, ““These junctions will not be just Metro platform. The possibility of attracting corporate and industrial houses to use the premises will be explored, as it will raise revenue.”
“The work on the car-shed (depot) at Mihan end (last point on north-south) has already started in May. And, tenders for first ninestations on the route have been floated,” Dixit added.
