In a recent move, that would benefit the union ministry of railways, the state cabinet gave positive ratification to alienation of government land of 881.745 acres for the construction of Daspalla Balangir of the crucial Khurda Balangir rail line.
Chief secretary A P Padhi said, “The land in Nayagarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Boudh, will be alienated chargeless by state government.”
