HDFC partners with Goa’s Margao city to launch online payment gateway

To digitally empower the citizens of Margao, the commercial and cultural capital of Goa, Margao Municipal Council has partnered with HDFC Bank to provide online payment gateway to its residents.

With this deal, the citizens can make online payment for 14 different services of the Council from the comfort of their homes or offices.

“At HDFC Bank, we feel privileged to be chosen as a partner for this initiative. This is a big step in the evolution of the payment mechanism for services provided by Municipal Council in the state and will help fast-track payments. We continue to make it easier for people to bank anywhere, anytime with our suite of digital banking offerings as they lead a fast paced, busy life and need convenience of accessing services on the go,” said Circle Head – Goa, HDFC Bank Ajit Dalvi.


All fees and charges for the following services can be made on the website of Directorate of Municipal Administration (Govt of Goa): https://goaulbservice.gov.in/.

Currently, residents have to visit the Council office to make payments. The digital payment gateway will reduce the time spent in long queues.
