Elets’ 21st Smart City Summit starts in Lucknow tomorrow

smart-city-summitUrban Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Khanna, will inaugurate 2nd Smart City Summit, Lucknow, tomorrow at hotel Taj Vivanta in Gomti Nagar.

The one day summit, organised by Lucknow Municipal Corporation, Lucknow Smart City Limited, in association with Elets Technomedia Private Limited, will see discussions on Smart Cities Mission, with active participation from policymakers and industry leaders.

State officials from various cities selected under the Smart Cities Mission will take forward the discussions on best practises, Smart and integrated transport, IT and Electronics, e-governance and innovations in Smart Cities, in the Summit.

There will also be a roundtable conference to be chaired by Divisional Commissioner, Lucknow, and Chairman, Lucknow Smart City Limited, Anil Garg.

This is the second Smart City Summit to be held in Lucknow. International experts are also coming to share their vision on Smart Cities. These include Dinah McDougall, Commercial Officer,Embassy of the United States of America; Jan Luykx, Ambassador, Embassy of Belgium.

According to Dr Ravi Gupta, CEO of Elets Technomedia Private Limited, benefits of Smart Cities Mission, Smart projects should directly reach people throgh e-governance. Elets plans to do such Smart Cities Summit in 100 cities of the country.

This is the 21st Smart City Summit, to be organised by Elets.
