Air India’s Alliance Air has launched a new flight between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam starting November 2.
A release from the national carrier said the ATR-72-600 aircraft (flight AI-9530) will leave Vijayawada at 8 a.m. and reach Visakhapatnam at 9.10 a.m. In the return direction, flight AI 9531 will leave Visakhapatnam at 9.40 a.m. and reach Vijayawada at 10.50 a.m.
As per the sources, Jet Airways will also start Vizag-Delhi-Vizag and Vizag-Mumbai-Vizag service from November 15. The starting fare to Delhi will be Rs 3199 and to Mumbai, it is Rs 3999.
K Vijay Mohan, President, Tours and Travels Association of Andhra Pradesh, said, “The Vizag-Delhi flight will leave the city at 8.55 am and reach Delhi at 11.55 am. The flight from Delhi will start at 6.35 pm and land in Vizag at 8.55 pm.”
“The Vizag-Mumbai flight will leave the Port City at 9.25 pm and reach its destination at 11.25 pm. On the return, it will leave Mumbai at 6.25 am and land in Vizag at 8.25 pm,” he added.
